FOUNDER · EDUCATOR · REGISTERED NURSE

hi, i'm lee ✦ Founder of Lyora

I didn’t build Lyora because I simply loved doing nails. I built it because I saw how powerful this industry could be when creativity was supported by skill, confidence and strong business foundations.

Before becoming an educator, I spent years behind the nail desk refining my techniques, learning how to create beautiful work efficiently and building a loyal clientele that trusted me with their nails time and time again. What began as a side hustle grew into a successful business, a fully booked schedule and a career that gave me more freedom than I ever imagined.

My background as a registered nurse has shaped the way I work and teach. I care deeply about safety, hygiene and understanding the reason behind every step; not simply copying a routine. I believe a great nail technician should know how to protect the natural nail, recognise problems, communicate professionally and make every client feel genuinely cared for.

But my journey has not always been perfect or effortless. I know what it feels like to question your abilities, compare yourself to others and wonder whether you are truly good enough to turn your passion into something more. My growth came from making mistakes, practising relentlessly and refusing to stay comfortable.

That experience is why my training is practical, honest and highly personalised. I don’t teach students to create work that only looks good in a photo. I teach them how to produce consistent results, improve their speed, confidently work with real clients and build a business that can genuinely support their goals.

Today, Lyora represents more than beautiful nails. It represents education with intention, high standards and the belief that women can create successful careers on their own terms.

Whether you are beginning with no experience, rebuilding your confidence or ready to elevate an existing business, my goal is to help you become the kind of nail technician clients trust, remember and return to.
